I once took a survey that asked which word I disliked more: used or moist? That's a tough one. I like both these words. I'm not an extremely optimistic person in general, but I would hope that "used" refers to an item I'm buying at a fraction of retail because it's ever so slightly used, and that "moist" is talking about a piece of chocolate cake I'm about to eat.
Or a rainy day like today. The moist air is blowing across the cedar bench outside our window, and I can smell it. It's one of my favorite scents. Our windows, which comprise our economical springtime AC unit, are open upstairs and down. The heavy fresh air is coming in.
