All of the emails I had from her had the same scripture at the bottom. When I asked her about it, she told me that it was her life verse - the verse that most captured her relationship with God and encouraged her through her walk with Him. I LOVED the concept, but having grown up Catholic, I knew very few verses off the top of my head. After her explanation, I was always looking for something and so many things sounded good, but nothing jumped out at me and screamed "YEP, I'M RIGHT HERE! THIS IS THE ONE, BABY! PICK ME!" And then one day, a friend sent me the most innocuous email that really changed my perspective on a lot of things. I found my life verse: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to hurt you, plans to give you a hope and a future." I realize that this event has surely passed by now, but I hope that this verse can be useful at some point in the future. Another verse I love is the one you noted Jeremiah 1:5.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10906202615497359096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-472399563141922488.post-75132940735577088052009-11-17T21:51:22.886-05:002009-11-17T21:51:22.886-05:00haha we were totally unoriginal- Lucy's said, ...haha we were totally unoriginal- Lucy's said, "God Bless You, Lucy!"
